CARICOM IMPACS worked with the European External Action Service (EEAS) and the GIZ through the Global Crisis Room Support Programme (GCRSP) to successfully facilitate the conduct of a series of training to enhance the capacity of regional agencies to operate in a crisis situation.

The project supports the OAS and its member states to prevent, combat and mitigate cybersecurity threats in the Americas. This will be achieved through international cooperation as a result of the implementation of National Cybersecurity Strategies, and greater participation in the dialogue on international norms in cyberspace.
Creating a Career Path in Cybersecurity
The program has provided training to economically disadvantaged youths and young adults (ages 18-25) in ten OAS Member States, with the objective of exposing them to technical training in cybersecurity and promoting their professional development in this field.
Cybersecurity Innovation Council Project
The project will support the creation of Cybersecurity Innovation Councils (CICs) to facilitate informal consultation and dialogue between key actors in digital security.
