Summary

The event, organized under DCAF’s regional project ‘Good Governance in Cybersecurity in the Western Balkans’ and funded by the UK Government’s Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCDO), brought together cybersecurity professionals from both public and private sectors.

The agenda featured a high-level opening address with notable speakers including Igli Tafa from AKCESK, Mirlinda Karcanaj from AKSHI, and Mia Marzouk from the British Embassy Tirana. It also included a keynote speech by Roman Hüssy of the National Cybersecurity Centre of Switzerland on fostering a productive environment for national CERTs. The event hosted a panel on promoting cybersecurity talent and plenary sessions based on FIRST’s call for papers. The second and third days were dedicated to technical training sessions, offering in-depth learning opportunities.
