GFCE Europe Regional Meeting 2025

The GFCE Europe Regional Meeting 2025, hosted by the Global Forum on Cyber Expertise (GFCE), will focus on advancing supply-chain uplift as a key enabler of cyber resilience and sustainable digital growth in the Western Balkans.

Building on the outcomes of the GFCE Western Balkans Cyber Capacity Building Project, the meeting will explore how multinational companies, governments, and SMEs can collaborate to raise cybersecurity standards, foster certification readiness, and drive technology adoption across the region.

The meeting will feature key findings from the Western Balkans CCB Project, followed by an interactive dialogue where industry leaders and partners will share practical examples of public–private partnerships (PPPs), supplier-development initiatives, and scalable models for cross-border cooperation. Discussions will focus on opportunities for co-funding, mentoring, and innovation that strengthen regional cyber capacity and global supply-chain resilience.

The meeting will be conducted in English and hybrid format, held back-to-back with the European Cyber Agora 2025 in Brussels. This is an invite-only event; interested participants may reach out to contact@thegfce.org, indicating whether they wish to join in person or online, subject to space availability.

GFCE Southeast Asia Regional Meeting 2025

The GFCE Southeast Asia (SEA) Regional Meeting 2025, hosted by the GFCE SEA Hub in collaboration with and funded by the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA), brings together government leaders, private sector stakeholders, civil society, academia, and international partners to advance multi-stakeholder collaboration in cybersecurity governance.

With the theme “Cybersecurity as a Shared Responsibility: The Role of Multi-Stakeholderism in a Digital World”, the meeting highlights the urgent need for inclusive, coordinated, and globally aligned approaches to address evolving cyber threats. Through structured sessions, panel discussions, and roundtable dialogues, participants will examine international best practices, frameworks for responsible state behavior, and opportunities to strengthen public-private partnerships.

The meeting will serve as a platform for knowledge sharing, trust building, and identifying actionable pathways to enhance cyber resilience in Southeast Asia.

Navigating the Intersection of Cybersecurity and AI: A Policy Dialogue for Latin America and the Caribbean

This webinar seeks to address the growing need for public policymakers to understand and navigate the complex landscape of AI-enhanced cybersecurity. By focusing on key topics such as the GCSCC's new AI Cybersecurity Readiness Metric, the reports "AI and Cybersecurity: Balancing Risks and Rewards" and "Unpacking Cyber Resilience," both developed in collaboration between the GCSCC and the World Economic Forum's Centre on Cybersecurity, the event will provide valuable insights for national policymakers to develop integrated strategies that balance the potential of AI with the necessary safeguards against cyber threats.

It will also provide a unique platform for AI and cybersecurity policymakers in LAC to interact with cutting-edge research and practical tools in the rapidly evolving field of AI cybersecurity. The OAS CICTE will foster dialogue on policy harmonization and regional cooperation with regional cybersecurity leaders to strengthen capacities in LAC to leverage AI for enhanced cybersecurity while mitigating associated risks.

Bridging the Gap: Delivering Cybersecurity to High-Risk Actors

On 12 March 2025, the UK Foreign Office (FCDO), in partnership with Common Good Cyber under the Global Cyber Alliance, will convene a meeting to coordinate cybersecurity support for communities vulnerable to digital transnational repression. Building on the UK-France–led Pall Mall Process, this event will bring together government, industry, philanthropy, and civil society to deliver targeted assistance to high-risk groups, such as journalists, dissidents, and human rights defenders. Key areas include enhancing threat intelligence sharing (especially for the Global South), expanding technical assistance, and establishing a coordinated funding mechanism to support cybersecurity nonprofits.
