8th ENISA eHealth Security Conference
The EU Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) is organising the 8th eHealth Security Conference, in collaboration with the Luxembourg Regulatory Institute. The conference will be a full-day physical event, hosted by CHL Hospital in Luxembourg City, on September 20th, 2023.
As medical data and systems have become a major target of cybercrime over the past years, easily jeopardised by ransomware, cybercrime, malicious actors, phishing campaigns, the eHealth Security Conference will facilitate the exchange of invaluable insights for these growing challenges, in an effort to fortify the sector's public and private entities against cyber threats.

Bridging Digital Borders: Cybersecurity Capacity Building in Latin America
The Royal United Services Institute for Defence and Security Studies (RUSI) and Florida International University (FIU) are hosting a half-day conference. The event will bring together experts from the UK, US, Latin America and other countries to discuss innovative strategies and multi-faceted approaches to address the region's cybersecurity concerns.
The first panel will explore the convergences and divergences of UK, EU, US, and Latin American countries approaches to cybersecurity capacity building. The panel will delve into the nuances the challenges they face and the strategies they employ to overcome these obstacles.
The second panel will explore pathways to the development of national cybersecurity agencies in Latin America, and discuss how nations in the region are innovating and adapting to protect their economies and societies from cyber incidents, and what lessons can be learned from their experiences.

This is the fifth edition of the CTI-EU event and an opportunity for the Cyber threat Intelligence Community to review the most relevant topics in the domain. UN Ad-Hoc Committee on Cybercrime 6th session
To elaborate on the draft convention a United Nations cybercrime convention, the Ad Hoc Committee to Elaborate a Comprehensive International Convention on Countering the Use of Information and Communications Technologies for Criminal Purposes, will hold its sixth session from 21 August to 1 September 2023 in New York. The first draft to the convention will be discussed at this session.

The .au Domain Administration (auDA) will host the 2023 Asia Pacific Regional Internet Governance Forum (APrIGF) in Brisbane, Australia from 29-31 August 2023. The APrIGF 2023 overarching theme is 'Emerging Technologies – Is Asia Pacific Ready for the Next Phase of the Internet?'.

Cyber SMART Samoa Roadshow
The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology is partnering with CERT NZ with support from Cyber Safety Pasifika, NetSafe, Ministry of Police and Prisons, Ministry of Education, Sports and Culture and Office of the Regulator will be in Savaii from 1-4 August 2023 for campaign called the ‘Cyber SMART Samoa Roadshow’ funded by CERT NZ and the New Zealand Government.
The initiative is aimed at promoting the cyber relationship between New Zealand and Samoa and underscores the commitment to support a Cyber Safe Samoa.
The roadshow highlights the importance of an all-eco-system approach to increasing Samoa’s Cyber resilience. This inter-agency approach will deliver a bespoke and culturally responsive programme that will cover all colleges in Savaii with sessions for students and the Parent Teacher Associations (PTA). The sessions will focus on lifting the profile of Samoan Ministries and their role within the Cyberspace. They will also educate students on ethics, how to navigate and use technology wisely. The PTA sessions will also focus on current cyber trends in Samoa, informing of incident log processes, cyber safety tips, upskilling their capability to help their children navigate the matters that may arise while online and how to support and supervise their children in their use of technologies and online services.
All agencies involved will provide valuable cyber related information to key members of the communities to support the establishment of Cyber Smart Samoa advocates in Savai’i.
