Summary
The aim of the project is to contribute to enhanced cyber resilience and cybersecurity that is responsive and effective in the six Western Balkan countries. Effective and responsive cybersecurity focuses on the security needs of all people.
Details
The first expected outcome of the project focuses on improving the regulatory framework (and its implementation) that clarifies roles and responsibilities, in particular that for Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) on information security measures. This will contribute to strengthened coordination and cooperation of national cybersecurity actors and lead to improved cyber resilience of critical infrastructure.
The second outcome focuses gender and cybersecurity in the Western Balkans. First, the project will work on recommendations on increasing the meaningful participation of women in the cybersecurity workforce. The project will also support judges and prosecutors in identifying capacity building needs when it comes to dealing with cases of non-consensual sharing of intimate images.
