El Instituto Panameño de Derecho y Nuevas Tecnologías (IPANDETEC)

IPANDETEC is a digital rights organization based in Panama City, Panama and they have been working in the Central American region since 2017. The organization promotes the use and regulation of ICTs and the defense of human rights in the digital environment. Their work is focused on two main areas: promoting the cyber laws and policies based on a human rights perspective and participating in local and regional policy processes in Latin America. IPANDETEC has been working with local and regional partners in the multistakeholder discussion and development of the nationals cybersecurity strategies in Panama and Guatemala.
