Summary
As part of DCAF’s “Good Governance in Cybersecurity in the Western Balkans” project (2021–2024), cybersecurity consultancy support was provided to Albania’s AKCESK to help develop draft procedures for cyber crisis response, aligned with the new cybersecurity law.
Legal Framework Review:
Albania’s cyber crisis and incident response system was assessed, gaps and inconsistencies were identified, and actionable recommendations were provided for strengthening national response capabilities.
Training Sessions:
The project sensitized government officials and raised awareness on effective cyber crisis management, including the roles and responsibilities of National CSIRT, improving national preparedness.
