Summary

This project supported stronger cyber crime capacity in Eastern Europe through a 2 week training programme and exercise hosted in the UK for 6 countries in December 2015.  The participating countries were Ukraine, Lithuania, Moldova, Romania, Georgia and Bulgaria.  The UK, US and Europol also took part. Each country sent a team combining law enforcement officers and prosecutors.  The exercise, called Silver Shadow, was organised by the UK National Crime Agency, the Home Office’s Serious Organised Crime Exercise Programme, the Crown Prosecution Service and CERT UK.  After the exercise a 2-3 day debrief and lessons learned workshop was held at Europol with participating countries.
