Summary
This project improved the incident handling capabilities of new and developing CSIRTs by providing them with high quality on-line and in-person training. It supported FIRST training in three subjects – assessing risk from product vulnerabilities; running exercises; and information fusion. The project helped FIRST develop new training material in three subjects – assessing risk from product vulnerabilities; running exercises; and information fusion – and deliver its existing basics of incident response course to 200 CSIRT staff from 40 countries. The material is available on-line at https://first.org/education/trainings and it can be freely used by anyone for non-profit purposes as is released under Creative Commons BY-NC-SA 4.0 license. Additionally, CVSS v3.0 course (assessing risk from product vulnerabilities) is an interactive on-line course.
