Aim
The aim of this project is to carry out a review and provide evidence for the maturity of Thailand’s cybersecurity capacity. This assessment enables the government to gain a better understanding of its cybersecurity capacity with the aim of prioritising investment strategically in cybersecurity capacities.
Context
The Cyber Security Capacity Maturity Model for Nations (CMM) is a globally recognised cyber maturity model develop by the Global Cyber Security Capacity Centre (GCSCC) at the University of Oxford and has been deployed more than 130 times in 90 nations around the world. The review provides a holistic assessment of each countries national capacity to manage complex cyber risks and identifies areas for improvement. This is the first CMM Thailand undertook.
The CMM supports the review of cybersecurity capacity in terms of five dimensions: Cybersecurity Policy and Strategy; Cybersecurity Culture and Society; Building Cybersecurity Knowledge and Capabilities; Legal and Regulatory Frameworks; and Standards and Technologies.
