ICT Policy & Regulation – Institutional Strengthening (iPRIS) contributes to bridging the digital divide by enhancing inclusive and meaningful digital connectivity in Africa. It does so by boosting the capacities of African telecom regulators through peer-to-peer learning with African and European counterparts.
Central African Backbone – Congo
The project assisted the Republic of Congo in developing legislation on cybersecurity, cybercrime and ICT that was passed between 2016 and 2020. It was part of a larger programme to increase the geographical reach and usage of regional broadband network services and reduce their prices in Central Africa.
