Summary
This project helped Nigeria draft a national cyber security plan for the telecommunications sector. It delivered through a workshop in December 2015 attended by 100 delegates from the Ministry of Communications, Nigerian Communications Commission, operators, internet service providers and law enforcement sector. The Minister of Communications and the Executive Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission attended. The workshop resulted in an action plan for the Ministry to use. A seperate CTO project was conducted the following year to support implementation.
