The aim of the project was to assess Ukrainian legal framework in the area of cyber security in terms of its alignment the EU Network and Information Security Directive (NIS) 2016/1148 of the European Parliament and provide recommendations in order to harmonize Ukrainian legal framework set up with the EU NIS Directive. Another major objective was to assess Ukrainian policies and practices on cyber crisis management, with a focus on elections in 2019 and provide recommendations for effective cyber crisis management.

Details

Main activities of the project included:
– Ukrainian cyber security legal framework review and harmonization with the EU NIS Directive.
– Ukrainian cyber crisis management review and enhancement.
