Summary

The event counted several parallel sessions, some sessions oriented towards government representatives at the decision-making level to develop cybersecurity policies and regulations and the others oriented towards experts with cybersecurity knowledge responsible for cybersecurity incident handling.

During the sessions, the participants were challenged with realistic situations under national cybersecurity emergencies towards taking effective decisions about cybersecurity regional perspectives where we gathered viewpoints of the government, of the industry, of the academia, and of different stakeholders as the critical infrastructure and service providers. The technical sessions were addressed by regional institutions and by global cybersecurity companies whose objectives are to offer technical capacity building on cybersecurity and to integrate regional CIRTs/CERTs representatives.
