Summary
Deloitte was engaged to support in the definition of the strategy for the Agency for Digital Italy (AGID) and as a coordinator between the stakeholders. Deloitte had to overcome a low cybersecurity awareness among agencies and bodies involved, no formal roles/responsibilities inside Government, no nationally recognized information security standards that set the minimum level of protection against common cyber threat, no formal budgets to support Cyber Security projects, and a lack of coordination capabilities in case of attacks to government services and assets
