The project “Cybersecurity Consultancy Services for Developing and Supporting Information Systems in Tonga” focuses on the expansion of the Cybersecurity Program of the government of Kingdom of Tonga. Within the project eGA provides the government of Tonga with cybersecurity consultancy and capacity building.

The activities are focused on the development of operational and administrative standards, assurance, monitoring, audit and cybersecurity emergency response (CERT) capabilities.

Moreover, eGA will conduct comprehensive security training and awareness-raising for government officials, IT and security professionals, management, and the private sector.

The project is a part of implementing an e-Government Support Project in Tonga supported by the World Bank with multiple components for developing supporting ICT infrastructure, information systems, citizen e-services, and other frameworks needed to meet the goals of the Tonga Digital Government Strategy.
