Summary

Aim / Objective

A platform to GFCE members to share experiences and lessons learned in cyber security mechanisms for responsible disclosure or coordinated vulnerability disclosure policies and discussions on the broader topic of ethical hacking.

Activities

Coordinated Vulnerability Disclosure Manifesto (signatories commit to implement public reporting mechanisms on vulnerabilities in their ICT systems and call upon other organizations to do the same. The Manifesto aims to make all parties more aware of the importance of cooperation to improve cybersecurity for everyone.
Development of a draft Memorandum on Coordinated Vulnerability Disclosure with the aim to be endorsed in 2017 by the GFCE members as well as at the GCCS 2017;
Promoting the importance of Coordinated Vulnerability Disclosure during conferences and high level meetings
Strengthening of the CVD Network
Organizing training workshops in various regions.
