National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM)

NASSCOM is the apex body for the 181 billion dollar IT BPM industry in India. While spearheading initiatives at local, national and global levels. it has supported the industry towards seeking trust, credibility and respect from varied stakeholders across 600 destinations in 80 countries. Today the association has more than 2500 members in its fold which together account for 90% of the industry’s revenue.Being a part of NASSCOM, one also has access to Data Security Council of India (DSCI) and the Future Skills platform. The former is committed to making the cyberspace safe, secure and trusted by establishing best practices, standards and initiatives. To further its objectives, DSCI engages with governments and their agencies, regulators, industry sectors, industry associations and think tanks for policy advocacy, thought leadership, capacity building and outreach activities. On the other hand, Future Skills, an industry utility, has a vision to accelerate India’s journey to build skills and become the global talent hub in emerging technologies. It is estimated that the industry will require 1.5 – 2 million digitally trained people in the next 5 – 7 years, a goal massive enough to need catalysts such as Future Skills, a NASSCOM initiative.
