The Federmann Cyber Security Center at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem supports researchers and students to carry their research and provides a unique research infrastructure that enables testing and experimenting over a large network of switches and routers.
The research topics of interest in the Center include security and cryptography, secure network protocols, robustness of large scale distributed systems and system recovery, faulty identification and zero day attacks, machine learning techniques for identifying threats and suspicious behaviors, and embedded threats in various types of seemingly naive files, secure accessibility of cyber interactions and more. The research center also includes researchers from the Faculty of Law who will be looking into various aspects on international law, related to cyber security. Joint teams will study also social aspects related to cyber security, including users and attackers.
