Comisión Técnica Regional de Telecomunicaciones (COMTELCA)

COMTELCA is the Regional Technical Telecommunications Commission. It is an International Public Law Organization and is the specialized Institution of the Central American Integration System (SICA) , which coordinates, supports and harmonizes the development of the Telecommunications and Information and Communication Technologies industry in the region. COMTELCA is made up of the States Parties of Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama and the Dominican Republic.

Its mission is to coordinate and promote the integration and development of telecommunications in the Region, as well as those of an international nature, that meet the needs of the citizens of the Region, through a legal framework that allows harmonizing the regulations of each country, manage the Telecommunications Systems and issue resolutions that are mandatory for its Members.
