Summary

The objectives of the workshop were to provide a forum for East Asia Summit (EAS) participating countries to discuss their cyber capacity building needs and best practices; to provide an opportunity for EAS participating countries to form partnerships to develop regional capacity building programs to better equip the region to take advantage of the fourth industrial revolution; and to enhance cooperation underway through the ASEAN Ministerial Conference on Cybersecurity, the ASEAN-Singapore Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence (ASCCE) in Singapore and the ASEAN-Japan Cybersecurity Capacity Building Centre (AJCCBC) in Bangkok.
