Summary

Partnering with PILON to strengthen regional responses to cybercrime.

This includes implementation of best practice legislation in line with the Budapest Convention. The Cyber and Critical Tech Cooperation Program supports an annual PILON regional cybercrime workshop, where Pacific legal officers discuss pressing cybercrime issues and identify suitable legal responses. This partnership aligns with Australia’s objective of stronger cybercrime prevention, prosecution and cooperation within the Pacific.

The project is part of the Cyber and Critical Tech Cooperation Program.
