Summary
The aim of the project was to raise cybersecurity maturity level across Bangladesh CIIs, the project was launched to review and enhance national cyber security strategy with a focus on CII protection, prepare cyber risk assessment framework and provide related tools for the Government of Bangladesh to govern CIIs.
Details
Main project elements of Bangladesh Computer Council included:
– Review and enhancement of national cybersecurity strategy with a focus on protection of essential services, responding to cyber threats, strengthening governance and legislative frameworks, forging international and regional co-operation to counter cyber-threats and cybercrime
– Development of cyber security strategy for CIIs and master plan for implementation
– Development of cyber risk assessment framework for CIIs with a customizable threat list selection model and implementation guidelines for the framework and compliance management
– Cyber risk assessment of selected 3 CIIs
– Establishment of information system for cyber risk assessment and compliance management
