Summary

Recognizing the need to enhancing national implementation of the OSCE Confidence-Building Measures (CBMs) to reduce the risks of conflict from the use of ICTs to promote global cyber stability between States, this project’s goal is to promote, assist and foster the implementation process of existing cyber/ICT CBMs.

This will be achieved by working with individual participating States to identify and prioritize national implementation challenges that need to be addressed, as well as creating national CBM implementation roadmaps and a customized capacity building assistance plan in co-operation with international partners.  This includes mapping current capacity building initiatives by other international entities that could also address CBM implementation challenges on the national and regional levels and therefore complement pertinent OSCE activities.
