Aim

The aim of this project was to carry out a Cybersecurity Capacity Maturity Model (CMM) and provide a review of Bangladesh’s capacity infrastructure. This assessment aims to give stakeholders a better understanding of national and critical infrastructure cybersecurity capacities while being able to prioritise investment and make strategic decisions.

Outcomes

The assessment contributes towards achieving cybersecurity resilience not only through gaining a more profound understanding of international cybersecurity capacity but also by increasing effective investment into cybersecurity capacity based on a rigorous analysis of data collected through the model implementation. Through the application of the CMM, critical gaps in all areas of national cybersecurity are identified and filled with scalable and effective measures, in cooperation with international partners.

Outputs

A comprehensive report on CMM and cyber capabilities of Bangladesh as of 2018 can be found here.
